Two-a-day practices begin in a few weeks and excitement is already building for another year of Mustang Football. The MVHS Football Booster Club is working hard to support a tradition of excellence in our program, and this mailing proviides important details about the upcoming season. This information packet includes:

Make sure to attend Back-to-Football Night on Thursday, August 27th at Mounds View High School. At this informative event, you'll get a chance to meet the coaches, see the players, and hear the cheerleaders. The meeting includes a Chemical Awareness presentation, so the player and at least one parent MUST attend. Arrive between 5:45 and 6:15 to get a Parent-Player picture taken and browse the activity tables set up in the commons area to promote Booster Club activities like Concessions, Carbo Loads, and Year End Banquets. You can also buy Mustang Merchandise and purchase tickets to the Tailgate party for the home opener (bring your checkbook .. this year's Mustang sportswear looks fantastic). The program starts at 6:30 in the auditorium and is expected to last about an hour.

These activities are all supported by the Booster Club, which strives to create a positive football experience for all players -- freshmen through varsity -- in the Mounds View program.
