Head Coach Jim Galvin
Jim Galvin is in his 11th year as the Mounds View Varsity Head Coach, and 25th year of coaching high school football. Coach Galvin was the defensive coordinator for the Mustangs from 1993 to 2000 and prior to that coached football at Irondale and St. Cloud Tech High Schools. Jim holds a master’s degree from St. Mary’s and an undergraduate degree from St. Cloud State. As a head coach he has compiled a record of 71 wins and 35 losses, winning three Suburban East Conference Championships and seven State Tournament berths. The Mounds View Football Booster Club would like to thank Coach Galvin for his outstanding commitment and dedication to Mustang Football.
